Heet Deth
Heet Deth is a chaotic sludge and noise project from Chicago embracing hypnotic grating riffs and pounding drums to make you dance. This band is known for playing all around Chicago from ramshackle DIY spaces to jazz clubs, to ballrooms. Heet Deth has toured with the legendary band Cherubs, opened for touring bands such as Fat Dog, Lip Critic, and Local H, A Deer a Horse, Upchuck, and Djunah. Heet Deth has played multiple festivals across the country that favor noise and heft over chill and saccharine: No Coast 2022 (TX), Caterwaul 2023 & 2024 (MPLS), Ghost Canyon 2023 (DEN). Heet Deth has had the pleasure of playing some of Chicago’s largest historic venues, Thalia Hall and Metro bringing DIY ethos to the big stage. Recently Heet Deth released their sophomore album “Bad Reading” through the tastemaker Midwestern label, The Ghost Is Clear.
